Donald Trump claims that Mexico has not sent us its “best people.” But anyone with even a simple comprehension of the crisis that has befallen Mexico and much of Central America knows that he has it backward. Many immigrants from the Northern Triangle countries of Central America (El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala) who seek legal help are fleeing organized crime in their own countries.
