Balance in life, balance in mind and balance in body. This sport is not about having the biggest chest nor shoulders. This sport is about balance and symmetry. The creation of a body of work becoming the reflection of your life. Knowing patience, persistence and consistency is the pathway to victory. If you find yourself with a short coming or one part of your life over powers another, you adjust. You give special attention to the area of need and focus on just that. Unfortunately this could lead to the atrophy of other areas. In training, utilizing unilateral movements allows you the focus on one body of work more than another. If you find you have an arm or leg or any muscle not equal in presence as its counter part or antagonist; add 20% more volume to that muscle or that side. Adding 20% is enough to correct it while not allowing its counter part to atrophy, stunt its growth nor become underpowered.
