Elisa Both, from Upper Nile, plays with her son (left) Chudier Gatkuoth (5) next to a relatives' shelter where they have been temporary accommodated at the UN Protection of Civilians site (PoC) in Juba, #SouthSudan. Elisa used to live near Mangatese in area, in Juba, with her husband for the last 8 years. Her husband went to Uganda for medical treatment few days before an intense fighting between Government and opposition forces broke out on July 8 and now he can't return because of the insecurity. Two days after the fighting, Elisa decided to take her two children to the UN base in Tomping because there were many looting and rapes by soldiers in her neighborhood. Later, she volunteered to be relocated at the PoC because she couldn't stand any longer without food and water. In the PoC she has been hosted by relatives, but she waits for a new IDP area in the PoC to be constructed. Her husband is still waiting for the opportunity to come back as soon as possible. © UNICEF/UN027616/Gonzalez Farran
