The ride commemorates the death of the #Lakota warrior, who was killed while being held at Fort Robinson, Nebraska. A riderless horse leads the group from the site of his death to the current home of the Oglala Lakota, on Pine Ridge. (I took this shot from a horse and was nearly knocked off by a branch while making it. It was definitely worth it.) #MitakuyeOyasin
