About the Shot: I snapped this photo of my cousin Addison on a family vacation in the #OuterBanks, a narrow Island off the coast of #NorthCarolina. She just started to explore gymnastics and I wanted to make sure to get some cool action shots using my #GoPro. We tried a number of different angles but everything turned out pretty “standard” in my opinion, I wanted to capture this shot where a normal camera couldn’t go! I decided to dig a small hole in the sand, in between where her hands hit the ground during a handstand.
How this shot was captured: I used the burst feature for this shot, as things were moving pretty fast and I needed to freeze the action. Using my smartphone app, I hit the shutter to take 30 photos in 3 seconds. I also made sure to position the sun directly behind her head, which gave everything a nice glow. After a couple of attempts I took a peak at the photos, saw the one I wanted, and sent her off to play with her other cousins again. After she saw the final images, we were taking shots like this the rest of the trip! #OBX #obxlife #GoProTravel #LittleGrom #GoProGrom #instatravel #ThinkOutsideTheBox
