My dear friend @runinkdesign came to visit for her birthday this weekend along with her wonderful family. The week's news (and now the weekend's) felt so overwhelming that I distracted myself for a few minutes and made some flower arrangements for their room. Even doing the smallest thing by hand right now reminds me that there are still moments of peace and beauty to be found. But I have not forgotten how important it is to keep talking, standing up for everyone's rights and to be a part of change. Someone took the #blacklivesmatter sign out of our front yard so tomorrow's change is to make a new one and not give up.
