We're happy to confirm that this brilliant shade of turquoise is indeed for real, and can be found in all its glory at the Cardwell Spa Pools in @tropicalnorthqueensland. This relatively unknown spot in Girringun National Park not only has brightly coloured water, but also a 'spa' at one end, where a natural depression in the creek bed causes the water to bubble like a jacuzzi. No one really knows why the water is so vibrant here... but it's certainly a magical place to enjoy a picnic and swim on your drive between Cairns and Townsville. Photo: @emilybrazier
