a glimpse at progress - the master bedroom in the city cottage - with a fresh coat of the crispest white paint, a newly assembled bed complete with linen summer sheets and a lushly textured rug under foot - it feels like an oasis of calm - as those of you who follow along on snap chat have seen - this little city cottage of ours, c.1900, is undergoing some updates and renovations - no room is safe - but after a week of walking around moving boxes, searching for the most basic of household items, sleeping on the floor and demolishing the kitchen - it's lovely to just be able to close the door to this little bedroom world
