After our walk around the walls of Uluwatu, we watched the traditional Kecak Fire dance. Set to a choir of 70 men chanting, it's part of the epic Hindu story Ramayana. Basically a love story about the beautiful princess Sita, her husband, Prince Rama, heir to the kingdom of Ayodya and the demon Fahwana, King of Alengka, the choir of men chanted while the ornately dressed characters came out to perform the story through traditional Balinese dance. All the while a beautiful sunset was going down behind them over the ocean. Not a bad way to spend the night. ???
