Yay so happy to have got a 1500m PB tonight in Finland, coming 2nd in 4.07.83 here at the Paavo Nurmi Games (@paavonurmigamesturku) in Turku!! Only 0.83 off the Rio Olympic standard, and has given me good encouragement for my 800s :) Thanks heaps to God for his strength and helping me pick up after a couple of alright but a bit disappointing races, my coach Maria for the ongoing support, my hubby @sam_tri_run , my parents, Athletics NZ, the meet organisers (such a great meet and big crowd) all my support team and sponsors and all my family and friends!! Also big thanks to @gengen_lacaze to pacing us to 1250m (so far!) And doing an amazing job, bang on target splits, you're having such an amazing season -bring on Rio!! It's nice to have an encouraging result as I build up to Rio after all the hard training and being away from home for a while, I'm so grateful! Back to the hard work again!! Well done to everyone else who competed tonight, some amazing performances, and to those who were a bit disappointed with their result, onto the next one, keep aiming high!
