We need a miracle my friends but maybe you can help with ideas. Last week I did a post on my fb page about the 3 poor declawed kitties who were sitting in high risk shelters after they were thrown away by their selfish and cruel owners.
A woman made a very insensitive post on that photo and said this, " I know that I am going to get a lot and I mean a lot of grief for this comment, but here it goes anyway. I believe if a person wants their cat declawed they should be able to have it done! I have four cats that have been front declawed only and I wouldn't have it any other way. And just FYI none of them have had any issues because of this."
I asked her, "what are you protecting over the welfare of your beloved kitties? Your couch or lace drapes?" She said, "Yes my couch, carpet, mattresses, if they can scratch it that is what I am protecting."
Okie dokie, needless to say the floodgates opened up and there was a lot of dialogue. You can read the full story on the link on my bio and it also has the link on my facebook page to this original post.
I asked her if she would help with this cause in honor of her declawed cats and she could be the leader in her state, Indiana, since the Midwest is one of the worst areas in America for a lot of declawing and unhealthy mindset about this inhumane procedure.
At the end of the dialogue,she posted this and posted a photo of a cute little kitten,
"the idea of me helping you is funny as hell, why, because I don't see things your way and would never help you spread your cause. I'm sorry if I don't seem educated to you, but it is my choice to do what I believe is best for me and our cats. You can say whatever you want about my decision, but it is MINE to make. This cutie here will join our other with her front claws being declawed in two weeks." Pls don't threaten or be mean to this person or I will be very upset ? #highroad
UPDATE!!! Thankfully this woman decided not to declaw this kitten!!❤️❤️❤️ #Respect #citythekitty #pawsneedclaws
