Hope you guys don't mind a little personal update~ I had something drawn but it's like 2am here so I'll post it tomorrow.
(Edit: For peeps who don't know: I had 3 open heart surgeries in Sept and Nov of last year for a mitral heart valve replacement . Now I have a mechanical heart valve. <....and am part robot. Jk😂>)
My scar is looking much better than before! I know the bottom part actually still looks pretty big and maybe scary, but trust me, it's much better than how it was (it was pretty badly raised and super thick and bumpy 😆💦💦). This is after almost 2 months of going to the dermatologist 😅~
It's still pretty hard to look at it. I actually hadn't looked at it for at least like 2-3 weeks before yesterday when I realized it looks much better....I hope I'll be completely over it one day. Sorry, I put a lot of stickers around this pic cause I'll be honest, I still think it looks kind of horrifyingly nasty. It doesn't help that it's still really sensitive to touch in a bad way, even after 7-8 months out of the last surgery. I usually keep it covered up with scar sheets cause it feels and looks better 😅
One day. There are ups and downs but the general direction, I think, is going up (mood-wise)~ plus I'm completely used to the clicking sound from my heart and it no longer keeps me awake so yay!
