Hippo are incredibly difficult to photograph and hard to get in action coming towards camera. Normally you get nice butt shots as they make their way into water. This bull was full of fresh cuts and scars from fighting. Like with a lot of animals, many a fight is had over real estate (territory). No different in many respects to humans I suppose. #hippo #savehabitat
