I am in Kampala working on a story about the impact of property grabbing on widows for @ナショナルジオグラフィック. Nearly a third of widows in some districts here are pushed off their land and out of their home - often by family members or neighbors who prey on their vulnerability. International Justice Mission (@IJM) works to find justice for these women by working with them and the legal system - punishing the perpetrators and restoring women to their home and land where they find shelter and grow food for their families.
