Part 3 of 3: Hanging sculptures and watercolours in the amazing #LouiseBourgeois solo rooms @テート・ギャラリー Modern. “We have substantially increased our representation of women artists," Tate Modern director Frances Morris elaborates. "When we opened, only 17% of the art on display was by women. Now, 50% of the solo rooms in the new museum are great works, or collections of work, by women. They include familiar faces, from Phyllida Barlow to Louise Bourgeois, but also artists showing in London for really the first time, like Jane Alexander, Magdalena Abakanowicz and the great Ana Lupas.” Thanks for following today's #anotherprivateview!
