Jonathan, a host in the East Village, never expected to run a half marathon. When his sister first asked him, he said, “Nah, there’s no way. But then I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I became fixated with the idea, and knew I had to do it.” When he isn't looping around the southern tip of Manhattan on a training run, he’s welcoming people into his home, and neighborhood. "I love meeting new people, and I love introducing them to the magic of NYC,” he said. “I started hosting in 2011 when I was starting a company. Since I didn’t have time to travel, hosting was a way to bring the rest of the world to my living room.” Catch Jonathan running the #AirbnbBKHalf tomorrow morning.
