Everyday in Costa Rica when I would get greeted by the locals they would give me a high five and say "Pura Vida".. So I asked what does it mean? It means that no matter what your current situation is, life for someone else can always be less fortunate than your own. So you need to consider that maybe.. Just maybe your situation isn't all that bad. And that no matter how little or how much you have in life, we are all in it together. We are all one. This is exactly the reason why I travel, not only I get meet great people but It also refreshes some important perspectives in my life. By immersing myself in a country, I get to really experience and soak in their culture. Costa Rica reminded me to live my life Pura Vida style. Which means in translation pure life, but has a much deeper meaning in the Costa Rican culture.
