The best bad option is never an easy choice to make.
After hiking over wet boulders, almost falling down slippery gullies, and generally getting soaked @bookofsamuel decided that the sandy bottom of this pond was the best of several bad options for getting back to camp. I was on board until that freezing cold water crept up above the thighs and sent me to higher ground.
