To most of you this probably just looks like another rocky, snowy mountain. But for the diehard alpine community this peak, Cerro Torre, is one that everyone dreams of climbing. It's fickle micro climate, combination of hard rock, ice, and snow climbing required to gain the summit; make successful climbs few and far between.
But on those rare days, maybe once a month, when the sun is out and the wind is calm it almost seems easily possible... And makes you wonder 'Maybe next year?'
