Without shelters, private rescues, and efforts by many volunteers, cats like Roo may have never found a home or could've suffered an even worse fate. Overpopulation is a serious issue so the more we adopt instead of shop, the more we can help pets that are abandoned, abused, & born on the street who end up in overcrowded shelters most of which are NOT no-kill shelters.
