Less human, more being is a line from an old song of mine, "All In My Head." At the time, it was a cry for justice as I saw the humanity being denied for my fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community. If our existence as "human" was the basis of the argument, I felt it was important to acknowledge our community as beings of many intersectional identities. Less human, more being is meant to symbolize us embracing our diversity as a species, whether sexuality, gender, or otherwise, celebrating all that we are capable of doing, and loving those around us and those who came before us who have passed on who helped us reach the point where we are now. We are all in this together.
