In honor of my 3 friends, Teeger, Abby, and Ryder who were declawed after their @avmavets /AAFP veterinarian at an AAHA hospital talked their first time cat owners out of the humane alternatives and said that declawing was a standard and common procedure and they would be fine. They all had most of their paws amputated from the complications of this inhumane procedure. They have been through the most unimaginable pain and suffering because their vets cared about money more than the welfare of cats. ??? It shows all the unethical ways that many in the veterinary profession go about declawing. It shows how organizations that are all about saving animals from cruelty, cater to the wishes of these greedy vets for fear of losing financial support themselves. It shows how the weak excuses and reasons that they say they must declaw cats are just so they can keep making money from this horrific surgery. It shows how they put GREED over the welfare of animals like Teeger, Ryder, and Abby.
