a day well spent - out-of-doors mending cleaning and turning field to earth, readying the garden beds, trimming apple trees - but the day has turned raw and cold rain has driven us inside - were we are indulging in a bit of afternoon tea - warm cups and thick slices of tsoureki - toasted with butter - this Greek Easter bread was dropped off early this morning still warm from the oven by our sweet neighbor - it's a welcome treat this afternoon
