I first met our wonderful director, Thea Sharrock at a theatre in London (where she was rehearsing a play she was directing starring the magnificent Kevin Spacey). She and I took a stroll from there to the Tate Modern, and sat outside discussing he script.
A fair few auditions later, some how, and for some reason she saw something in me, and took that leap of faith.
I did anything and everything I could to do Will Traynor justice, but it was her belief, support and guidance that pushed me that extra mile. I trust her with my life, and I know she won't let you down in delivering the film the book deserves.
So thank you Thea, for being the supportive bra to my boob.
I can only hope I have the chance to work with her again on feature film number 2. And 3. And 4. And 5 and 6.
