April 26th... a brisk morning in Halifax at my favourite cafe...
And the 2015/2016 season has officially come to a close! Time seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, and I feel like each season goes by faster and faster. I think it's because I'm truly enjoying and relishing each day.. good and bad.. for I know these days are the best of my life! It's truly magic. Heartfelt gratitude to you, my friends and family, for following me with your hearts and prayers this season. There were many 'ups!', a few heartbreaking 'downs', but we completed the season with one of my favourite performances ever. Not because it was perfect or easy... but because it represented us in the best way possible: finding our joy and climbing back up from what seemed like a little valley in the year. Each competition this season was special for different reasons, but the Team Challenge Cup in Spokane will truly be in my heart forever-- it was such fun!!! And the perfect way to end the year, OUR way.
And blink! Just like that, we are back in Halifax for rehearsals for Stars on Ice Canada, another dream realized each year as a cast member... to change the pace and slow down a bit and relax. Thank you all again for what you do for me. Each message is treasured and I truly appreciate you all! From my heart to yours... Big love and big magic! XOXOX
