SPRING CLEANING.
This week has been one emotional roller coaster after another. I've come to this conclusion: it's beyond important to protect your space. Other people's personal drama or ego or victimization doesn't have to include you. I dedicated my practice with the amazing @yulady this afternoon to someone who hurt me today. Spent 90 minutes breathing moving sending love even though every fiber of my being was vibrating with anger when I stepped on my mat. My intention was to forgive and let go, but at the end of the class only one sentence resonated through my being: not my drama. Not my drama. Not my drama. It's up to me to decide what energy I allow to enter my own space! Not everything needs to be forgiven, accepted, understood. I spend so much time trusting everyone around me I've opened up for people to take advantage. I'm done with it. Trusting is good but be careful who you let enter your tribe. Right now I have no need for martyrs, no need for ego, no need for people feeling sorry for themselves. I need to surround myself with people that are whole. People who stand with their feet firmly on the ground. People that don't direct their own shortcomings onto others whenever it's convenient. I'm done holding energy leeches up. No more.
