"I was 8 years old when I held my first needles". Harry Were had a childhood love of knitting. Like her mom and grand-mother, she carries on a family tradition of handy savoir-faire.

Harry started her own business in New Zealand one year ago, after a long time of friends begging her to design and create personal patterns and items for them. She uses hand-spun wool from the Marlborough Sounds, and works with hand knitters to create bespoke designs that she sends all over the globe. Her favorite pieces? Baby sweaters.

She'll be with us at #MakersandBakers to knit personalised cloths and tea cosies.
