Time for some honesty: I'm sitting here trying to write my speech for this weekends @lungforce event .... Honestly it's a struggle for me. I feel so much pain in my heart as if it's breaking all over again. I look through pictures, think of memories and recall her journey and feel so devastated. It still doesn't feel real to me... I still think I can pick up the phone and call... I still think I can sit on her lap and hear her stories... I still think she isn't gone and this is all a bad dream! I don't know how to move forward somedays. I want to be honest about it because I preach of strength and positivity but somedays it's just not there. And so I reach out because I know I'm not alone... I know we all have a story and relate to this feeling. My heart goes out to all of you who understand. I pray tomorrow I wake to a new day and feel ready to try again. I fight because she taught me how. I speak because she showed me strength. I hope to inspire because she was mine.
