Depak is a stone mason from Changetar Kerung village, a twenty day walk from Phortse. He is part of a team of masons that live on site and hand craft rock into precise blocks to be built into the @khumbuclimbingcenter.
The team includes a forge with two smiths, a cook and two senior fellows who pass their knowledge on. He is happy to have this work and prefers this to going overseas.

We have insurance for the rock workers which is a rarity. To make things easier we snapped digital pictures with the person's name on a dry erase.
Here Depak Kumar is giving us his best #bluesteel in hopes of a #rightswipe.
