Never thought I'd say it but I'm actually starting to enjoy running! ?? ? the park run I did at weekend was brilliant and I actually surprised myself at how easy I found it. Not easy as in "I'm a pro runner" I'm definitely not! ? But easy in the fact that I didn't stop, it was hilly & I ran it in under 30mins! It was only a 5k but for me that's a biggie. I used to run for Manchester Girls as a teenager but I ran the 100 meters and 4x4 relay. I was a sprinter. Long distance was never my thing. I preferred the explosive power from a sprint as apposed to the continuous pace of cross country. However, recently I've found it quite therapeutic and have planned to run a 5k twice a week with 2 friends. Who knew?!! ??????
