The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh depart St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, after today's Royal Maundy service.

The Maundy Thursday service took place at St George's for only the second time in The Queen's reign, having also previously been held there in 1278 and 1423.

The Royal Maundy Service used to take place in London, but early in her reign The Queen decided that the service should take place at a different venue every year.
