A poem I wrote for a person that seems reflected in landscape...or vice versa...whatever:
You are black and white and filled with color...
At once elegant and elemental and unrefined, like a rough diamond.
You are imperfect, slightly tortured, bent but not broken.
You are beautiful.
You are fierce.
You are gentle.
Graceful.
Force.
Your armor is stunning and stained, well-worn and heavy.
You can take it off when you want around me...
I see you anyway.
You are seen.
You are valued.
You are perfect in your wholeness.
You are loved.
