Raheem, 11, doesn’t like to complain. But he wishes he could be alone more. Sharing a cramped shelter with nine other family members in Lebanon is hard. “In the camp everyone is everywhere all the time,” he says. “In Syria I had my bike. I’d ride with my friends every day, to school and around. … If I had my bike I would ride to the ocean. I can see the ocean -- but I have never been there.” Every day, he tries to help his mother look after his younger siblings. He tries to do everything for himself so he is not a problem for his mother.
In the future he wants to be a lawyer so he can help people know their rights – especially refugees.
