This beautiful Northern Pygmy Owl is a permanent resident of the @ojairaptorcenter, a federally licensed rehabilitation center for birds of prey and other wildlife. Located in Ojai, California, the center is home to a wide array of gorgeous animals. Pixie arrived at the center with a broken left wing. Due to the extend of her injury she is non-releasable. Thanks to the ORC Pixie will live a long and healthy life. Fun fact: she weighs only 2.5 ounces.
