For more than a century, the world has come together on International Women’s Day to celebrate the achievements of extraordinary women, and to press forward in the ongoing fight for gender equality.

Host GeunHyang wanted to take on the traditional role of stay-at-home mom, but still pursue her dream of running a guest house. She found her solution in opening the family’s South Korean apartment on Airbnb. Through hosting, she gets to experience different cultures while staying at home with her children. GeunHyang’s family has been so happy with the entrepreneurial idea that she says her daughters seem to get along better with the guests than she does.
