International Women’s Day is a reminder to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the world. Though there’s still progress to be made, women are more and more being recognized for their important work.

Host Nicole’s work is helping disadvantaged and at-risk youth figure out what they want to do with their lives through her non-profit. She says, "Impact is something that I feel was naturally ingrained in me at a young age.” As a single mom and the sole caregiver and support to her daughter, hosting allowed her bridge the gap between graduating and getting her non-profit off the ground. Nicole says “Airbnb has been a gift” that helps her support her community by guiding students to live a "purposeful, happy life that positively affects society."
