I grew up near here and did a 100-mile road trip on gravel roads from Denton to the PN Ferry that crosses the Missouri, standing in the back of my 75-year-old father's pickup. While I love the rugged mountains of southwest MT where I now reside, I still respond more strongly to the wide-open spaces and enormous skies of #centralmontana.
When we crested the hill on top of the breaks, a small herd of pronghorn was racing full blast through sagebrush, paralell to the road. I swear they were going 70mph, and my dad was keeping up on gravel, which is squirrelly. It was exhilarating! #visitmontana #montanamoment #thelastbestplates #roadtrip
