#FBF to that time I lived in St. Petersburg, Russia.
This is the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, which is a graphically detailed name to be sure, but you gotta love the Russians for bringing those dramatic 'never forget' elements to naming things. Built between 1883-1907, it stands on the sight where Alexander II was assassinated in 1881.

Similar in style, but far more ornate than St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, this church immediately stunned me. I walked by nearly every day of my time there, just to soak it up so I would never forget it's beauty after I returned home to America.
