Just finished 14 straight hours in a room with lawyers trying to work out a situation that's been brewing for months. Business wise we are ok - we got what we came for - but there are no winners here. Definitely not. Just two rooms filled with people that together could have done better.
There will be no celebration at the end of this day.
Bonds are broken and friendships are lost and where there was once trust there are only memories of something that may or may not have been real. I feel so sad. So so sad. Hollowed out. Empty. And tired. My back is killing me, I can barely keep my head lifted, my heart hurts. Literally my whole heart. Front and back. All of it.
At the airport now... Going home. Home. Where hopefully I'll be able to pick up a piece of my heart and feel ok. #life
