The celebration will continue for 15 days with much prayer, dance and ceremony. In Labrang Monastery, novice monks (trapa), practice blowing the dungchen, the Tibetan long horn, used in Buddhist ceremonies and call to prayer. The sound is compared to the singing of elephants.
