I was going to work on this some more today but it's one of those bad days, y'know? I'm so tired and feel horrible today...? sorry I don't have something better to post.
This is a bit of the tedious layering effect I'm doing on her hair. This is sped up at around 24x. The thing with gouache is that it often dries into a different shade, and to do more soft-shading, I have to do a lot of layers to slowly get it right.
On the other hand, aftereffects' motion stabilization is really good...
