While we're very pleased that the elephants with Ringling will no longer suffer a miserable life on the road where they spend a great deal of time in boxcars and perform grueling circus tricks under the threat of punishment, the circus is sending its elephants to its Florida compound, where the elephants will likely be confined to small paddocks, chained, and handled with bullhooks. HSUS is working to change state and local laws to ban cruel elephant training devices, like those used by circuses.

You can help. Please contact Ringling and urge them to transform its elephant center into a true sanctuary where the elephants would live in family groups, roam freely over many acres of land, bathe in ponds, browse on fresh vegetation, and never be restrained by chains or fear the bullhook: customerservice@feldinc.com.
