#Repost @WhatTheFlicka - I always say my second child brought peace into the house, but I think it's more accurate that I calmed the f*** down when my second came, because I had no alternative. My kids are 18 months apart, and I just didn't have the time and the resources to treat EVERY SINGLE SECOND as vital and life-changing. I had this idea that every action I took could possibly change my child for the better or the worse. What pressure! With the arrival of the number two, I had already been through it and I could exhale, because my older daughter was still alive and seemed like a pretty cool kid (at least so far). I even knew I was crazy with my first daughter, I just couldn't stop myself. But my second daughter stopped it for me, and I am eternally grateful. What did you do differently with your second child?
