I often feel dysphoric in my glasses, something I've been questioning recently as to why - I imagine it may be due to the fact that I started wearing contacts as I began discovering my gender identity. I ditched these glasses almost entirely and only wore them when sick or before bed. looking in the mirror with them on, I remember how I used to avoid mirrors prior to my transition. I would focus on my glasses in the brief glance at the bathroom mirror, and started associating my glasses as I transitioned with something feminine or with my "old face."

Well, I'm not going to say I like the way I look in them now, but it really makes me happy when my partner says she actually likes my glasses. ☺️ so here's me. in my glasses. somewhere flat and dusty in the middle of the country.
