The @アメリカ自然史博物館 recently said goodbye to its 24-foot long replica of a juvenile #Barosaurus. The reason? A bigger dinosaur is moving in. @brainharkin photographed an exhibition assistant standing inside the Barosaurus in September, when workers smashed open the Barosaurus’s underbelly with a mallet so someone could get inside to guide the sawing process. We’ll share a photo of the new dinosaur tomorrow morning. The new species, which has yet to be named, was discovered in Argentina in 2014.
