PIZZA MEATBALLS OVER ZOODLES

Chef Natasha of @thefeistykitchen prepared these large meatballs with my Pink Salt and Pepper and Pizza seasoning! They were served over a bowl of zucchini noodles which is an excellent alternative for pasta for those of us who are trying to limit the carbs????

Pizza Meatballs:
1 lb ground beef, grass fed (@5280meat)
1 lb ground pork, pastured (@5280meat)
1 egg
2 tbsp paleo mayo (or spicy aioli)
2 tbsp #FlavorGod Pizza
2 tsp #FlavorGod Pink S+P
1/2 c breadcrumbs (glutenfree)
1/2 c milk of choice
2 jars of favorite clean pasta sauce
fresh basil, julienned for garnish

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450F.
In small bowl, add breadcrumbs and milk. Stir to combine.

In large mixing bowl, add all ingredients including breadcrumbs and milk. Roll up your sleeves and mix gently with hands until combined. Roll into about 2 dozen 1 1/2 inch size meatballs. Pro Tip: I use an ice-cream scoop to keep them uniform size.

On a lined baking sheet or 9x13 baking dish, arrange meatballs so that all the sides are touching. Bake for 15 minutes.

Heat a large skillet over med-high heat, add pasta sauce and meatballs (I added an additional 2 tbsp Pizza seasoning to sauce). Bring to boil, then reduce heat to med-low and continue to simmer for approx 5-10 minutes. **Might have to heat in 2 skillets or 2 batches if they don’t all fit in one.

Serve with your choice of pasta/noodles. Pictured in front zoodles/shredded cabbage, in back, spaghetti noodles.
