The Sewell family ended 2015 in dramatic fashion, with pop singer Conrad Sewell (@conradofficial) and his sister, Grace, both up for Song of the Year at the ARIAs, Australia’s equivalent of the Grammys. “That was pretty crazy,” says Conrad, who ultimately won the top prize for his Gospel-tinged piano ballad “Start Again.” “I didn’t think I was going to win so I didn’t have anything planned out.”
The 27-year-old performer is now ready to kick off 2016 in a big way. There’s the tour, then the American release of his EP, “All I Know,” which includes the synth-heavy dance track, “Shadow” (you can hear a snippet of it in the video here).
“I am just looking forward to putting out music and getting a buzz going,” he says.
