Upon arriving in Paris, we realized our hotel was about a block away from the Bataclan theatre. Walking past and seeing the site was an incredibly humbling experience. It is so upsetting to imagine how many people were affected by this tragedy - those that were lost, their families, friends, the employees, those that walk past every day on their commute. My heart is truly heavy. This is one among many tragedies the world is facing right now. Life is so precious and so fragile.
