@stephiiicooks: Last post of 2015 before I spend time with my family. I've never made candied pecans and I'm wondering why have I not done this?! It's so easy and versatile. You can add it to your salad with some apples, lettuce mix & raspberry vinaigrette, on top of your favorite desserts or even just to snack on! Make these and I promise you, you won't be disappointed! Hope you all have a happy and safe New Year's Eve/New Year!

1 lb whole pecans, unsalted
1 large egg white
1 T water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 T #flavorgod Pumpkin Pie or Gingerbread Cookie Seasoning, ground
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 250°F.
In a mixing bowl, whisk egg white with water and vanilla on high until very frothy.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the sugars, seasoning, cinnamon and salt.
Add pecans to egg white mixture and mix until evenly coated.
Pour half of the sugar mixture over pecans and mix well.
Add the rest of the sugar and mix until evenly coated. Pour pecans into a large, shallow foil pan and spread into an even layer. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Store in an airtight container.
