With less then 5 hours of day light each day that time here in #Iceland feels quite precious. The stormy days seem to make the daylight move by even more quickly and the beauty even that more fleeting. This is all being said from the comfort of a car, lodging and warm and water proof clothing. To live here in the wilderness this time of year would be a completely different experience. My friends @renan_ozturk and @taylorfreesolo are currently here in the Icelandic wilderness navigating across the harsh winter landscape on a cross country expedition and dispatching regularly. If you haven't been watching their progress and battle they are totally worth a follow. Wishing them good luck and success on their adventure!
